Another blue has come to Pawcific! Splash comes to us from Ronni DeLay of Majestic Border Collies in Kentucky. We can't thank Ronni enough for sending us this special mail order dog.
Splash is a promising puppy with excellent type and structure. He has the outgoing and ready to please temperament that we love. His pedigree encompasses many outstanding dogs that we have always admired, and ties into some of the lines we already have. We believe Splash has a bright future ahead of him both in conformation and performance.
Splash made his debut in the breed ring at 7 months in August 2007. He won WD and BOW for a 4 point major on Sunday in Enumclaw, WA! A couple weekends later he picked up 2 more singles by winning WD & BOW on Friday and WD on Saturday in Eugene, OR.
Splash made a big impression at the specialty shows in October. At the 2007 BCSA Nationals Splash won Reserve Winners Dog and 1st place in the 9-12 Puppy Dog Class! The following weekend at the Northern California Border Collie Club Specialty he won Runner Up in Puppy Sweepstakes and Reserve Winners Dog from the 9-12 Puppy Dog Class!
After turning a year old Splash entered the ring again at the Rose City Classic for the PNWBCC's back to back supported entries and sweepstakes. Splash went Best Opposite in Puppy Sweepstakes, and WD for a 5 pt. major on Saturday. On Sunday he won BOW, WD for a 4 pt. major to finish his Championship! Now on to the fun stuff! |
